Short Story: The Room Upstairs

room upstairs had been out of use for decades. No one seemed to know
why and no one talked about it.

When my boss notified me that it was
time for my retirement, I realised this was my last chance to find
out what was hiding behind the mysterious door.

I waited the rest of
the day, until everyone in the office had left.

I sneaked up the
stairs and with a pin from my neatly tied grey hair, I unlocked the
door. I checked to ensure no one had seen me and then, pushed the
door open.
